Conversation and Companionship
Our compassionate direct care workers (DCW) will always be there when you need someone to care for you and talk to. Our direct care workers will engage you in conversion which makes you feel less lonely and makes the day go faster.

Grocery Shopping / Errands
Our direct care workers will shop for groceries at the stores our consumers prefer and run errands such as picking up prescriptions or going to the post office. Consumers may choose to stay home or come along and help with the shopping and errands as an excellent way to stay active and engaged which is so good for our consumer’s mind, body, and spirit.

Mobility Assistance/ Daily Walks
Daily walks are necessary to keep active/ stay healthy. If walking is your primary exercise, your caregiver can help you with your routine. Our DCW can go with you to nearby parks or to the mall. They can also help you with mobility and moving around if you are using mobility aids.

Assistance With Socialization and Outreach Programs
Do you want to return to your hobbies? Do you want to have recreational activities with neighbors and friends? Your caregiver can accompany you to recreational centers or to attend local events.

Writing Letters and Correspondence
Don’t miss the opportunity to write to your loved ones who live far away and tell them about your life. The art of letter writing is still very much alive especially for the elderly generation. Your caregiver can mail your letters and can go to the post office to pick-up your mails too.

Stimulating Activities Such as Art Projects and Reading
Your caregiver can assist you with art crafts, sewing and gardening activities. If you are vision impaired, your caregiver can read you a book or the newspaper. It’s part of keeping you up to date with the latest events.

Connecting with Loved Ones Through Email and Social Media
Your caregiver can help you stay connected by helping you set up and operate your Skype or Social Media account. You can then maintain regular communication with your family, continue to be engaged and stay on top of all the current news out there and be happy.

Bathing, Grooming, Dressing and Hygiene
Our direct care workers are well trained to assist our consumers with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal hygiene.  The practice of cleanliness stimulates circulation and goes deeper to help our clients refresh their spirit, stay positive, feel relaxed and confident.

Transferring and Positioning
Our direct care workers are well trained to move and place our consumers in correct posture positions especially if they have Arthritis or if an injury is too painful. Proper transferring and positioning from or into beds and chairs is very important for their health and safety.

Toileting, Mouthcare and Incontinence Care
Our direct care workers are well trained to maintain the dignity and self-esteem of our consumers by helping with toileting, brushing their teeth and in other bathroom activities. Through this caring approach, we lessen the embarrassment consumers may feel associated with incontinence and need for toileting assistance. We also help keep our consumers’ bathroom area clean and the floors free from puddles to avoid accidents/ falls.

Meal Preparation and Feeding
Many of our consumers do not have the ability to shop for groceries and fix a well-balanced meal. Our well-trained direct care workers can prepare hot, delicious, nutritious meals based on their clients’ preferences to help them get the proper nutrition they need.

Medication and Bill Payment Reminders
Although our employees cannot administer medications, they can help ensure that clients take their own medications as prescribed by their doctors. Our compassionate direct care workers can assist with opening medication containers, reading labels, and reminding consumers when it is time to take a dose.

Our direct care workers can also assist you with your calendar reminders and remind you when bills are due and can assist you in paying for utilities and other household essentials.

Laundry Assistance
Our dedicated direct care workers will tend to the laundry either at their clients’ homes or a laundry facility, and will wash, dry, fold, iron, and put clothing away. We work to ensure that each client’s laundry is done according to his or her preferences. If needed, we can even help you choose your outfits for the day.

Light Housekeeping
Our light housekeeping services cover most domestic tasks to demonstrate how much we care. These light household chores can seem heavy if you must do all of them yourself in pain or cannot move around easily. Our dedicated direct care workers will be very happy to assist you with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
